Ko Phi Phi, just do it!

Ko Phi Phi, just do it!

Do you know the Nike message? I think you all do: “Just do it!” This is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think back to Ko Phi Phi. Just do it! Just go there!

I’ve seen quite a few islands lately, but if I were to choose one to come back to, Phi Phi would be it! Small, with cozy fine white sand beaches, high hills full of jungle trees, clear water, all kinds of restaurants and bars, young, chill, playful atmosphere and breathtaking diving and snorkeling spots, protected and taken good care of thanks to the whole area’s national park status.

My best diving experience so far was here on Phi Phi at the wreck; even though the visibility was not more than 5-8 m, it was the first time I was observing a ship wreck and it was surrounded by hundreds or thousands of fish – lion fish, nemo, puffer fish, barracuda, scorpion fish…And I fell in love with the porcupine fish – google it and you’ll see what I’m talking about; it is just adorable and you feel like hugging it. Maybe I’ll have one as a pet someday, ha ha ha!

The island and its surroundings are incredibly beautiful, be it on a rainy or sunny day, the people around (yes, mostly westerners) are just happy, laid back, nice guys and the food is really tasty. What could you ask more from an island?
