Urs&Zeb – The Cambodian Master Chefs
After so much Asian food, we thought it was the moment to start learning to cook such delicacies! And as we really loved our first touch of Cambodia, we chose the Khmer cuisine as the first try: fresh and fried spring rolls, Cambodian soup, Khmer amok, banana and pumpkin desserts.
We started with a visit to the market together with our chef in order to view the vegetables and ingredients we did not know: taro, fish/ oyster sauce, sago, lemon grass, winter melon, etc.
We then put on our cooking costume and started to chop the vegetables, boil the water, fry the pans and so on… None of us cut any fingers nor did we set on fire anything.
It was a fun experience and we had a great feast at the end with our delicious, freshly prepared dishes. Bon appetit!
